The boy was born in Naberezhnye Chelny, in a traditional Tatar family, which three years after his birth moved to Orenburg. There, his father, Adyam Kabirovich, first played in the local "Gazovik", and then switched to coaching. Daler began to seriously engage in football since the age of seven, extremely pleasing with his successes the first coach Alexander Degtyarev. He immediately identified the boy in the center of midfield, where he was able to fully demonstrate their abilities. The coach was not even embarrassed by the boy’s short stature, which was more than compensated for by clear tactical thinking.
In 2006, the head of the family made the decision to move to St. Petersburg together, where the children (by then, the youngest daughter, Kamila) had much more development opportunities. Daler continued to play football at the Zenith children's school, as part of the St. Petersburg Lokomotiv youth team, he took the fourth place in the Russian children's championship. He played the season at the Zenit Academy, where Alexander Gorshkov was his mentor, but did not make it to the main team and was forced to independently select a team.
In the summer of 2012, his father took Daler to Petrozavodsk "Karelia", which he was then coaching. After a year and a half, the team was disbanded, but in this short period, Kuzyaev Jr. successfully played 22 matches.
Daler Kuzyaev in 2013 played for Neftekhimik
After the collapse of the club, the father of the football player spoke with the breeder of Rubin, Marat Kabayev, about the “employment” of Daler. After watching the video with the young man's game, he invited him to play in Ruby-2. But after just two days of training at the farm club, the Rubin coach Kurban Berdyev invited Daler to the base. But Berdyev himself believed that the young player would have no prospects in Rubin and advised him to pay attention to Neftekhimik, who at that moment worked closely with Rubin.
And in 2014 he moved to the Terek of Grozny (in the photo with Ramzan Kadyrov)
There he spent fifteen matches, but New 2014 met already in Grozny “Terek”, with whom he signed a three-year contract. The offer from the Kazakh FC “Zhetysu” also appeared, but the main reason for the refusal was the study of Daler in Petersburg FINEC. Debut for "Terek" was held in the final round of the championship season 2013/2014.Daler replaced Facundo Piris in the 80th minute of the match against Rubin.
Long interview with Daler Kuzyaev
For the first six months, the Terek coach Rashid Rakhimov diligently observed the new player, changed his position on the field, but eventually he came to the conclusion that Damir has no equal in the center midfield.
Many experts believe that Damir Kuzyaev has no equal in the center of midfield
Agents from St. Petersburg “Zenith” came to the same opinion, they finally decided to get Kuzyaev in their team and in the summer of 2017 signed a contract with him until 2020. In the very first match with SKA-Khabarovsk, Damir scored an important goal, which became the starting point in his further “adult” sports career.
The best moments with Daler Kuzyaev
A month later, he was almost simultaneously invited to the national team of Russia and Tajikistan (since his father was born in Tajikistan).
In Russia, I was born, grew up, got a football education here too. And I did not even consider other options for myself.
Saying that he would play only for his country, Kuzyaev played in the fall for the Russian team with Dynamo Moscow, and a month later he entered the field in a friendly match with a team from South Korea.
