In the process, try to achieve the smoothest, smoothest surface possible; otherwise, even the smallest flaws will become very noticeable when painting. Pay special attention to the seams and screwing points.

How to paint drywall? The key to this issue will be the room itself, its purpose, features. Therefore, the choice of paint in each case will be different.

Most often, the most successful option is water-based paint. You can choose both matte and glossy. For rooms with high humidity (bathroom, kitchen, bathroom, etc.), you can choose special compositions that endure such conditions.

Shade composition will be important. It is often not so easy to pick it up, especially considering that the original paint color will change after dyeing. So, if you are not confident in your skills, then it is better to ask for help from the specialists of the store where you will buy materials, or use special devices.

Some are wondering if drywall is painted with acrylics. And the answer here is positive. Acrylic paints are also sold in a glossy and matte finish and have excellent water resistance properties.

Depending on which product is more convenient for you and effective for the job, you can choose a brush, roller or spray gun for applying paint.

To paint the perimeter of the surface and small parts, use a brush (start with each new layer of paint).Next, take a roller or spray. If some areas are badly painted, wait for the surface to dry and then correct the defects. If somewhere the paint turned out to be too much, then also wait until the composition dries, then remove the excess with sandpaper and tint.
