In Mexico, found the largest underwater cave in the world
Cavers discovered that two separate (as previously thought) underwater caves located on the Yucatan Peninsula are connected between themselves, and together their length is almost 350 km! It does Sak-Actun cave system is the longest in the world.
The Gran Acuifero Maya (GAM) project is dedicated to research and preservation groundwater peninsula Yucatan.
