Police in Istanbul shot gay parade with rubber bullets

In the capital of Turkey, Istanbul, the police shot a gay parade unauthorized by the authorities with rubber bullets, reports AFP. At the moment, information about the overclocking of the pride is extremely small.

It is reported that earlier the Turkish authorities banned the gay parade in Istanbul for security reasons. The event was threatened by disrupting the representatives of ultranationalist groups. According to local authorities, information was published in social networks that a serious reaction would follow during the gay parade.

 


This ban on the parade of representatives of LGBT communities was the third in a row, the organizers replied that they would hold the event, even despite the threats that it would be broken. Later it was reported that the gay parade participants were shot by rubber bullets by police. Information is specified.
