Senshi S LLC is a Tokyo-based startup founded in 2017 by childhood friends Toshiyuki Niino and Yuichiro Okazaki. The company provides customers with a unique service called "Exit". It lies in the fact that the employee of the company will come to work to the client and quit on his behalf.
Instead of talking to their boss on their own, the Japanese prefer to pay between 350 and 450 dollars for someone else to do. The process is very simple: the client leaves a request, describes in detail what documents to sign and what things to pick up from the workplace, and pays for the service. Then a specially trained person does everything for him.The founders of the company said that they are very surprised that so many people are willing to pay in order not to go through the whole process.
28-year-old Niino himself left the job several times, so he is well aware of what employees may want to leave his place of work: mountains of papers, persuasion of his boss, uncomfortable conversations with colleagues. The guy remembers very well how, five times, the chiefs spent hours trying to persuade him to stay, and the personnel managers talked about how much the company had invested in it. Therefore, he came up with the idea to offer clients to quit on their behalf.
During the year since its foundation, 800 clients from all over Japan have contacted the company. Now they talk a lot about the service in the local media, so Niino and Okazaki expect an even greater influx of people.
