How to repair the solenoid?
When the "Kalina" does not turn on the rear gear,you can try to restore the solenoid. Where is he located? If you turn the steering wheel to the right and then look under the car from the left wheel, you can see the solenoid. He is at the checkpoint. Connector and wires are connected to the solenoid. The connector is removed, and the key "for 22" is twisted off the solenoid by approximately eight millimeters.In the resulting gap, the wire is wound up orinsulating tape. Then again tighten the solenoid. Then you can try to include the rear gear. When driving on a car, you should be as careful as possible - the first gear is next door.
Note!If the solenoid is replaced, the oil must be replacedin the transmission. But if you have time to plug the hole, it will be enough just to add the right amount of lubricating fluid. Specialists recommend the use of Total Transfer oil with a viscosity of 75W80. The required volume is 2.2 liters for the box 2180 and 3.3 liters for 2181 (with a cable drive).
If the checks did not lead to anything
It also happens that the diagnosis did not give anything - none of the reasons described is not suitable. In this case, there are three possible options:
- The gear selection mechanism is out of order.
- The fixing bolt was cut.
- The spring has burst.
The most terrible thing in this situation is that any of these reasons requires the removal of the box. This is already a very serious repair, which by force is not all.
